Sailing Club saves 7.5 tonnes of carbon and £1,400 a year with upgraded heating and hot water system

“For some time we had identified that we needed to overhaul or replace our water heating system: our existing system was over 20 years old, energy inefficient and increasingly unreliable.  But to replace it was going to be a major item of expenditure: we are a members’ club and as such have limited financial resource. BEE were incredibly helpful in first providing a feasibility study which enabled us to assess the benefits we could derive from a new system and then in providing grant funding which enabled us to press ahead with the project where otherwise we would have had to delay whilst we realised the necessary funds”
