Businesses across the Greater Cambridge and Greater Peterborough Local Enterprise Partnership area accessed grant funding and energy efficiency reviews with Business Energy Efficiency until spring 2020, when the programme came to an end.
During this time the programme supported over 270 businesses, and identified £1,400,000 of cost savings and 6,500 tonnes of carbon savings that could be realised through recommended actions.

The Eastern New Energy (ENE) programme provides grants to eligible small and medium-sized businesses to help catalyse capital investments in energy efficiency initiatives. Support is available from the summer of 2020 until late 2021 (subject to grant availability).
The project is part-funded by the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
